The following Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern the use of all matrimonial applications (collectively referred to as “Lokal Matrimony”) operated by Behtar Technology Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Lokal Matrimony includes, but is not limited to, the following: Hyderabad Lokal Matrimony, Guntur Lokal Matrimony, Vijayawada Lokal Matrimony, Chittoor Lokal Matrimony, Anantapur Lokal Matrimony, Visakhapatnam Lokal Matrimony, Godavari Lokal Matrimony, Warangal Lokal Matrimony, Kurnool Lokal Matrimony, Khammam Lokal Matrimony, Karimnagar Lokal Matrimony, Kothagudem Lokal Matrimony, Rangareddy Lokal Matrimony, Tamil Lokal Matrimony, Chennai Lokal Matrimony, Coimbatore Lokal Matrimony, Madurai Lokal Matrimony, Salem Lokal Matrimony, Trichy Lokal Matrimony, Erode Lokal Matrimony, Tirunelveli Lokal Matrimony, Karnataka Lokal Matrimony, Bagalkote Lokal Matrimony, Bengaluru Lokal Matrimony, Mysuru Lokal Matrimony, Malenadu Lokal Matrimony, Karavali Lokal Matrimony, along with any future matrimonial applications launched by us.
By using Lokal Matrimony or any of its associated applications, users agree to be bound by these Terms and Privacy Policy. The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of Lokal Matrimony shall constitute acceptance of the latest version.
This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) along with terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) forms a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between You and Us (“Behtar Technology Pvt Ltd”, “Lokal Matrimony”, “Our”, “We”). “Lokal Matrimony” (website and mobile application) hereinafter referred as (“platform”) is committed to protect the privacy of the users of the platform (including users and buyers/customers whether registered or not registered). Please read this privacy policy carefully to understand how the platform is going to use your information supplied by you to the platform.
This Privacy Policy is published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 and Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 which requires publishing of the Privacy policy for collection, use, storage and transfer of sensitive personal data or information.

3. You understand that We want You to not use the App if You do not understand, approve of or accept all the terms specified in this Agreement. Hence, You are requested to read these Terms and Privacy Policy carefully and understand the Agreement before You accept it and agree to be bound by it.
1. The App is designed to provide You an in-app browsing experience through an embedded browser.
2. The App may include links to other mobile applications and/or websites (some of which may be automated search results) which may contain materials that are objectionable, unlawful, or inaccurate. We do not endorse or support these links or the products and services they provide; these links are provided for Your convenience only. We are not responsible or liable for the content or accuracy of such links.
3. In order to provide the App to You, We may request You to register and/or provide information about yourself. We trust that any information provided by You will always be true, accurate, complete and updated.
4. The content displayed on the App is for Your non-commercial and personal use. You are not allowed to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display any content displayed on the App.

Your email address and phone number are used to identify you while logging into the App. Lokal Matrimony may use your personal information to control your access to the App as well as use of the App, to communicate with you, customize your experience of using the App and and/or the content of any email newsletter or other material that Lokal Matrimony may send from time to time and provide information that may be useful or interesting based on the content and personally identifiable information relating to you.

We may stop provision of the App (or any part of the App), permanently or temporarily, to You or to Users generally or may modify or change the nature of the App and/or these Terms at Our sole discretion, without any prior notice to You. Your use of the App following any such modification constitutes Your deemed acceptance to be bound by the Agreement (or as it may be modified).
1. A violation of this Agreement may result in a legal liability upon You and that nothing in this Agreement should be construed to confer any rights to any third party. You are responsible for Your conduct and activities while using the App, and for any consequences thereof.
2. If any provision of the Agreement is found to be unenforceable under the applicable law, it will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of this Agreement. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed superseded by a valid enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
1. You will download and install the App for using it. You will also download and update the relevant latest versions of the App and any relevant updates provided by Us to avail continued access to the App.
2. You will use the App only for such purposes as is permitted by (a) this Agreement; and (b) any law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines applicable in the country of which You are a citizen, in which You are a resident or from where You use the App.
3. For Your use of the App, Lokal Matrimony grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the App on Your android device. However, You shall not copy the App or any of its components.
4. Lokal Matrimony also grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access such content on the App which is owned by Lokal Matrimony. For using any content owned by a third party, You still require a license from such third party.
5. We may use the name you provide in your Lokal Matrimony profile across the various services that require an Lokal Matrimony Account. In some cases, we may replace multiple names linked to your account to ensure consistency across the platform. Other users, will not have access to any email, photo, or other personal information that has already been claimed by another user.
6. Lokal Matrimony is committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
7. All collection, processing, sharing, and retention of personal data is undertaken for specific, clear, and lawful purposes as outlined in this Policy, and is limited to what is necessary to achieve those purposes.
8. Users have the right to request correction, deletion, or review of their personal data, and may withdraw consent to processing by contacting our Grievance Officer. Revocation of consent may affect certain features of the platform.
9. Use of Lokal Matrimony is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process the personal data of children (persons below 18 years of age) without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the DPDP Act. By registering on the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If we become aware that a user is under 18 and has registered without proper consent, we will take steps to delete the account and associated data promptly.
10. Lokal Matrimony allows users to upload and share personal content including photographs, videos, text, and profile information.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload or share, and agree not to post material that is illegal, obscene, harmful, defamatory, or infringing any third-party rights. Lokal Matrimony maintains the right to review, moderate, remove, or restrict access to any content that violates our Terms of Service or applicable laws. We provide reporting tools for users to flag inappropriate content, and such reports are reviewed in a timely manner by our moderation team.
We may also suspend or terminate access to users who repeatedly breach content guidelines or legal requirements.
1. You will not use the App or any content provided thereof for any purpose that is illegal, unlawful or prohibited by this Agreement.
2. You will not access (or attempt to access) the content provided through the App by any means other than through the App.
3. You will not redistribute, sublicense, rent, publish, sell, assign, lease, market, transfer, or otherwise make the App or any component or content thereof, available to third parties.
4. You will not circumvent or disable any digital rights management, usage rules, or other security features of App; remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright notices) on any portion of the App; and not use the App in a manner that threatens the integrity, performance, or availability of the App.
5. You will not impersonate another person or impersonate, guide or host on behalf of, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent Your affiliation with any person or entity, including, but not limited to Our officials, employees, agents, partners, affiliates, dealers and franchisees.

When this Agreement comes to an end, all of the legal rights, obligations and liabilities that You and Lokal Matrimony have benefited from, been subject to (or which have accrued over time whilst the Agreement has been in force) or which are expressed to continue indefinitely, shall be unaffected by this cessation, and shall continue to apply to such rights, obligations and liabilities indefinitely.

When you post content on Lokal Matrimony and make it public, it may be reshared by others, both within and outside the platform. Please consider your audience carefully, as people who can see your activity on Lokal Matrimony may share it further.
Users can create and share content about you on Lokal Matrimony according to their chosen audience settings, such as posting photos or tagging you in their posts. We reserve the right to share all public content on various social media or other online platforms. Your Personal Information will never be rented or sold to third parties, except in anonymized form unless explicitly stated in these Terms.
We may share your Personal Information with entities within our Group. "Group" includes any entity under our control, controlling us, or under common control with us, directly or indirectly.
When you share content or communicate through Lokal Matrimony, you control who sees it. For instance, when you share Lokal Matrimony content on platforms like Facebook or WhatsApp, you choose the audience for that content. We do not oversee how these third parties handle the information you share through such sharing options.

Your data may be stored on servers located in India and other countries.
Both AWS and Google Cloud Platform maintain stringent security measures to protect against unauthorized access, misuse, and alteration of information. THE APP, SITE, OUR CONTENT, AND MEMBER CONTENT ARE ALL PROVIDED TO YOU “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE COMPATIBILITY OF ANY MATCHES OR CONVERSATIONS.
SHOULD APPLICABLE LAW NOT PERMIT THE FOREGOING EXCLUSION OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN WE GRANT THE MINIMUM EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS SECTION.
ADDITIONALLY, WE DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES THAT THE APP OR SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR FREE OR THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, OR THAT THE APP, SITE, OUR CONTENT, ANY MEMBER CONTENT, OR ANY PORTION THEREOF, IS CORRECT, ACCURATE, OR RELIABLE. YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEMBERS. THE Lokal Matrimony IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER. Lokal Matrimony DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS MEMBERS.
You can delete or remove content from your user account/profile at any time. However, the history of your activities and account on Lokal Matrimony will remain accessible to us.
You have the option to correct, amend, add, or delete Personal Information from your account by logging in and visiting your profile page. To opt out of receiving unwanted email communications from us, please follow the instructions provided in the message.
According to Section 5(6) of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“Rules”), you have the right to request a review, correction, or amendment of the information we collect about you at any time. Additionally, under Section 5(7) of the Rules, you can revoke your consent to the collection of your information going forward. Please note that revoking your consent may impact your ability to use certain features of Lokal Matrimony, such as accessing your mobile device’s media folder and camera for posting pictures. You can also request that we do not process your personal data for marketing purposes.

We ensure that your Sensitive Personal Information (defined below) is retained only for as long as necessary for lawful purposes. If you request deletion of other content, please note that copies of any public content may remain indefinitely in our systems, including in cached and archived pages of the Platform, or if other users have saved that information. Additionally, due to the nature of the internet, copies of your content, even if removed from your account, may exist elsewhere and could be retained indefinitely. 'Sensitive Personal Information' includes passwords and any other information classified as sensitive under Section 3 of the Rules.

Lokal Matrimony, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates and agents and any other service provider responsible for providing access to the App in connection with this Agreement will not be liable for any acts or omissions, including of a third party, and including those vendors participating in Lokal Matrimony's offerings made to You, or for any unauthorized interception of data or breaches of this Agreement attributable in part to the acts or omissions of third parties, or for damages associated with Lokal Matrimony, or equipment that it does not furnish, or for damages that result from the operation systems, equipment, facilities or services provided by third parties that are interconnected with Lokal Matrimony.
