The following Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern the use of all matrimonial applications (collectively referred to as “Lokal Matrimony”) operated by Behtar Technology Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Lokal Matrimony includes, but is not limited to, the following: Hyderabad Lokal Matrimony, Guntur Lokal Matrimony, Vijayawada Lokal Matrimony, Chittoor Lokal Matrimony, Anantapur Lokal Matrimony, Visakhapatnam Lokal Matrimony, Godavari Lokal Matrimony, Warangal Lokal Matrimony, Kurnool Lokal Matrimony, Khammam Lokal Matrimony, Karimnagar Lokal Matrimony, Kothagudem Lokal Matrimony, Rangareddy Lokal Matrimony, Tamil Lokal Matrimony, Chennai Lokal Matrimony, Coimbatore Lokal Matrimony, Madurai Lokal Matrimony, Salem Lokal Matrimony, Trichy Lokal Matrimony, Erode Lokal Matrimony, Tirunelveli Lokal Matrimony, Karnataka Lokal Matrimony, Bagalkote Lokal Matrimony, Bengaluru Lokal Matrimony, Mysuru Lokal Matrimony, Malenadu Lokal Matrimony, Karavali Lokal Matrimony, along with any future matrimonial applications launched by us.
By using Lokal Matrimony or any of its associated applications, users agree to be bound by these Terms and Privacy Policy. The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of Lokal Matrimony shall constitute acceptance of the latest version.
You may use the Services only if you agree to form a binding contract with Lokal Matrimony. In any case, you must be at least 18 years old if you are female or 21 years old if you are male (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Services. If you are accepting these Terms and using the Services on behalf of a company, organization, government, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so and have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms, in which case the words “you” and “your” as used in these Terms shall refer to such entity.

You understand that through your use of the Services you consent to the collection and use (as set forth in the Privacy Policy) of this information for processing and use by Lokal and its affiliates.
At Lokal Matrimony, we have always believed in the importance of privacy and how personal data and user privacy should never be violated. We shall comply with the highest standards for Data protection applicable to the users. The types of information that we may collect include your name, email, gender, date of birth, phone number, education, workplace, area, city, photos, choices of interests, and any other information that you choose to provide. At every point where we get the user information, we clearly state the purpose of the data and how it will be used. The user can decide to use the specific feature or not, depending on his/ her requirements.
You are responsible for your use of the Services and for any Content you provide, including compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You should only provide Content that you are comfortable sharing with others. Any use or reliance on any Content or materials posted via the Services or obtained by you through the Services is at your own risk. We do not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any Content or communications posted via the Services or endorse any opinions expressed via the Services. You understand that by using the Services, you may be exposed to Content that might be offensive, harmful, inaccurate or otherwise inappropriate, or in some cases, postings that have been mislabeled or are otherwise deceptive. All Content is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such Content. We may not monitor or control the Content posted via the Services and, we cannot take responsibility for such Content.
We reserve the right to remove Content that violates the User Agreement, including for example, copyright or trademark violations, impersonation, unlawful conduct, or harassment or violation of any religious sentiments or Laws.
Lokal Matrimony is a platform designed to facilitate connections between individuals seeking matrimonial alliances. The platform offers access to user-submitted profiles containing self-declared information, including but not limited to name, age, gender, caste, religion, location, marital status, educational background, job type, salary/income range, and other matchmaking-related details.
All profile information is provided and updated by the users themselves, and Lokal Matrimony does not independently verify or authenticate the accuracy of such information, except for limited cases where telephonic verification is conducted on female user profiles as an added security measure.
Access to certain features and profile contact details, such as phone numbers, may require the user to purchase credits, subscriptions, or make a one-time payment. Once payment is successfully processed, the relevant access or feature will be activated on the user's account. The platform is primarily digital and the delivery of services is completed through in-app access, notifications, or email/SMS confirmations. No physical goods are delivered as part of these services.
While we make best efforts to ensure prompt delivery of services upon payment, Lokal Matrimony does not guarantee compatibility, success, or outcome of any match, nor does it assure the continued availability or responsiveness of any particular user on the platform.
Lokal Matrimony disclaims all liability arising from inaccurate or misleading information provided by users or from any interactions, engagements, or disputes that may result thereafter. Users are encouraged to exercise due diligence, discretion, and caution when interacting with others.
All payments made on Lokal Matrimony are final and non-refundable. This includes fees for unlocking profiles, premium features, or subscriptions. We do not provide refunds for unused features, user dissatisfaction, or discontinued use.
As our business evolves, we may change these Terms or the Privacy Policy. If we make a material change to the Terms or the Privacy Policy, we will provide you with reasonable notice prior to the change taking effect either by emailing the email address associated with your account or by messaging you through the Services. You can review the most current version of the User Terms at any time by visiting this page, and by visiting the following for the most current versions of the other pages that are referenced in these Terms. Any material revisions to these Terms will become effective on the date set forth in our notice and all other changes will become effective on the date we publish the change. If you use the Services after the effective date of any changes, that use will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
In addition to all other terms and conditions of this Agreement, you shall not: (i) transfer the Services or otherwise make it available to any third party; (ii) provide any service based on the Services without prior written permission; (iii) use the third party links to sites without agreeing to their website terms & conditions; (iv) post links to third party sites or use their logo, company name, etc. without their prior written permission; (v) publish any personal or confidential information belonging to any person or entity without obtaining consent from such person or entity; (vi) use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or harm any server, network, computer system, resource of Lokal Matrimony; (vii) violate any applicable local, state, national or international law; and (viii) create a false identity to mislead any person as to the identity or origin of any communications.
You agree to be solely responsible for the contents of your transmissions through the Services. You agree not to use the Services for illegal purposes or for the transmission of material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, or is otherwise objectionable, offends religious sentiments, promotes racism, contains viruses or malicious code, or that which infringes or may infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another.
You agree not to use the Services for the transmission of "junk mail", "spam", "chain letters", “phishing” or unsolicited mass distribution of email. We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Services if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you have used the Services for any illegal or unauthorized activity.
We may suspend your user account or temporarily disable access to whole or part of any Service in the event of any suspected illegal activity, extended periods of inactivity or requests by law enforcement or other government agencies. Objections to suspension or disabling of user accounts should be made todeveloper@getlokalapp.com within thirty days of being notified about the suspension. We may terminate a suspended or disabled user account after thirty days. We will also terminate your user account on your request. On termination user account data will be blocked from processing. Pertaining to Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 by Government of India (link), we will store registration details of users for a period of minimum 180 days after termination of account. After that period, user can reach out to developer@getlokalapp.com to delete the data.
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS-AND-AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. Lokal Matrimony MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE. USE OF ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL BE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM, MOBILE TELEPHONE, WIRELESS DEVICE OR DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES OR THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM Lokal Matrimony, ITS EMPLOYEES OR REPRESENTATIVES SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS.
YOU AGREE THAT Lokal Matrimony SHALL, IN NO EVENT, BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER OR FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER FAILURE, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF Lokal Matrimony HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. IN NO EVENT SHALL Lokal Matrimony ENTIRE LIABILITY TO YOU IN RESPECT OF ANY SERVICE, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TOWARDS SUCH SERVICE.

Lokal Matrimony retains all intellectual property rights to the content, trademarks, logos, and any proprietary materials presented on the platform. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of Lokal Matrimony's intellectual property without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Lokal Matrimony's services for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not grant any rights to copy, reproduce, or exploit Lokal Matrimony's intellectual property on any other platform.
Lokal Matrimony respects third-party intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Any infringement claims should be reported to Lokal Matrimony, and the platform reserves the right to take appropriate action, including content removal or account suspension, in cases of unauthorized use.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. All disputes under these Terms shall be referred exclusively to courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms including the determination of the scope or applicability of these Terms, or use of the Lokal Matrimony or any information provided thereof, shall be resolved through arbitration conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent of the User or Registered Member and the Website. The arbitration shall be governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and the rules made thereunder. The venue of the arbitration shall be Bangalore and the language of such arbitral proceedings and award rendered shall be English. The award delivered pursuant to such arbitral proceedings shall be final and binding on the parties to the dispute.
Notwithstanding anything contained herein above, every party to a dispute shall have the right to seek interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Bangalore to safeguard the rights of such party pending any arbitration proceeding initiated.
Lokal Matrimony may post notices within the App or send you notices on the e-mail address or the telephone number that You may have shared with Us. You will have received such notices within 3 (three) days of us sending the notice. Your continued use of the App on expiry of such 3 (three) days shall constitute Your receipt and acceptance of the notices sent to You. Lokal Matrimony reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. Users are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted. These Terms apply solely to information collected by Lokal Matrimony through its platform and do not extend to unsolicited information provided by users through public channels. Any unsolicited information shared with Lokal Matrimony shall be deemed non-confidential, and Lokal Matrimony reserves the right to use or disclose such information without restriction.
Lokal Matrimony does not guarantee that its platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components such as viruses. The company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided on the platform. Lokal Matrimony reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of its services, features, or content at any time, with or without notice. Lokal Matrimony shall not be liable for any losses resulting from such modifications or interruptions.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and Lokal Matrimony, superseding any prior agreements or understandings. Users may not assign or transfer their rights under these Terms to any third party. Additional terms and conditions may apply when using third-party services through the platform.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between Lokal Matrimony and any user. Neither party has the authority to bind or represent the other.
Failure by Lokal Matrimony to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other rights. Any waiver must be in writing and explicitly stated.
Users acknowledge that any significant breach of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to Lokal Matrimony, for which monetary damages would be inadequate. In such cases, Lokal Matrimony shall be entitled to seek equitable relief, including temporary and permanent injunctions, in addition to any other legal remedies available. Users waive any requirement for Lokal Matrimony to post a bond or security in seeking injunctive relief.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the Website or in a written agreement, all obligations under these Terms must be fulfilled in a timely manner.
By using Lokal Matrimony, the User acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. Clicking "Accepted and Agreed To" (or a similar button) constitutes binding acceptance, without the need for a signed agreement.
